The 1989 World Tour Live
Concert Film | December 20, 2015
Directed by Jonas Åkerlund, The 1989 World Tour Live concert film documented the seven-month worldwide trek of Taylor’s fourth headlining tour, “The 1989 World Tour” (2015). It was released on December 20, 2015, exclusively via Apple Music.
Taylor announced the film on December 13, 2015, only one day after “The 1989 World Tour” came to an end in Melbourne, Australia. Even though it was her 26th birthday, she seemed to be in the giving mood. On her website and Twitter she revealed that “The 1989 World Tour Live” would launch on Apple Music on December 20th. It wouldn’t be made available for purchase, but it was free for Apple Music subscribers. Taylor tweeted:
«Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes. I have a little surprise for you. #1989WorldTourLIVE»
