Taylor Swift's Movie Work
Taylor’s ventures into film have ranged from lighthearted cameos to major cinematic and directorial achievements. She first appeared in popular Disney productions, portraying herself, before making her acting debut in Valentine’s Day (2010). She later lent her voice to Audrey in the animated film The Lorax (2012) and appeared in the dystopian drama The Giver (2014). In 2019, Taylor took on the role of Bombalurina in Cats, for which she also co-wrote the original song “Beautiful Ghosts” with Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Her cinematic work further includes the acclaimed documentary Miss Americana (2020), offering an intimate look into her life and career, and All Too Well (The Short Film) (2021), which marked her directorial debut. Taylor is now preparing to make her feature-length directorial debut with an upcoming, currently untitled film project.
