Wendy

Wendy is a female Samoyed adopted by Taylor and Travis Kelce. The couple kept her largely private for more than a year before publicly revealing her in September 2026. Travis later confirmed that Wendy was already a little over one year old and that they had had her for “quite a while,” although the couple have not disclosed the exact date or circumstances of her adoption.

Taylor and Travis kept Wendy out of the public eye after bringing her into their family, with Travis later explaining that they had been trying to keep her “under wraps.” The first known public sighting came in March 2026, when Wendy was filmed getting out of a car at a New York airport. At the time, neither Taylor nor Travis publicly confirmed that the dog belonged to them, and speculation about the mystery Samoyed continued for months.

The couple eventually confirmed Wendy’s existence through Travis’s Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2026 campaign, released on September 1, 2026. Travis explained on New Heights that the campaign team had wanted to use a dog and that he volunteered Wendy for the shoot; after discussing it with Taylor, she was “all for it.” He later joked:

«Wendy’s now a model. She’s a model dog. Little old Wendy’s a little over a year old now. We’ve had her for quite a while. Trying to keep it under wraps.»

The name Wendy prompted fan theories about possible connections to both Taylor and Travis. One theory links it to Wendy Peffercorn, the lifeguard character from the 1993 film The Sandlot, whom Travis had previously discussed on New Heights. Fans have also noted Taylor’s recurring use of the name Wendy in connection with Peter Pan, including “cardigan” and “Peter.” Neither Taylor nor Travis has confirmed the inspiration behind Wendy’s name, so these remain fan theories rather than established facts.
